Dealing with Depression and Anger Problems

Depression is definately not the best thing to deal with especially when you add anger to the mix. We all deal with things in life that either make us or break us at one point. Here are my ways of dealing with all this. It may not be a whole lot but its something.

1. Reading/Writing: This may not be everyone's choice but hey it helps. Reading can take your imagination to another level. You're in a whole new world!

2. Gym: Exercising is another way to not think about problems. A punching bag usually helps to get rid of all that anger you have pent up within you.

3. Talking to Friends or Family: usually one doesn't want to burden someone else with their problems but there are people willing to listen to you. I go to my closest friend or when they are not around I would go talk to my mother.

If you have hobbies work on that to take the load off your mind. Its never good to keep things bottled up inside. You have to keep in mind that you're not only affecting yourself you are affecting others around you. There are people who care. So what your ways?

Survival Guide: Friendship Break-Ups

It is a horrible experience to lose a friend or two or three or all of them in some cases, but
we all go threw it and have to find a way to deal with the stress and painful emotions that
come along. Instead of breaking down and blaming yourself, here are a few tips you can
follow to get back on your feet.

10. Buy Chocolate or favorite snack

I do not want to encourage binge eating but having some of your favorite snack is tip
number ten. Eat something that will take you to a happy place, like CHOCOLATE.

9. Go Outside

Tip number nine is to get a breath of fresh air. After a stressful break up you may not want
to leave your bed but you have to force yourself to get up and get out that house. Go for a
or a run or even the gym. Anything to get you bouncing up and down with energy.

8. Meet New People

If your old friends don't want you, then get new ones. Tip number eight is to start meeting new people who share similar interests as you. You can do this online or at social events.
There is no shame in friendship searching online, you do what you have to do to make yourself feel better. However, make sure to practice safe surfing.

7. Dress up

Nothing helps your mood more then looking and feeling beautiful. Thus, tip number seven is to dress up and put on those heels. Dress yourself something fancy and feel like the Queen you are. Boost your self confidence with some self-love. You are doing this for you, and no one else.

6. Wine & Cheese Night In

Sometimes it is time to rent a movie and buy some wine with cheese. When you just don't
have the strength to start meeting other people, it is best to spend some time alone and
away from all the drama. Perfect opportunity to watch your favorite movie with your favorite wine.

5. Rediscover Who You Are

During stressful situations you may lose sight of who you are and who you want to become. Tip number five is to never lose sight of your values and your morals. Have your priorities
written down and remind yourself that you won't become someone you are not.

4. Treat Yourself to Something Nice

You don't need anyone to surprise you with something nice, you can do that yourself. That
is why tip number four is to treat yourself to something nice. New toys has the ability to
make us happy, whether that'd be new makeup, new clothes, or new video games.

3. Reinforce Self-love

Your friends left you alone and sad, but you can't let that bring you down.
Which brings us to tip number three, reinforcing self love. You can't love someone else, if you do not love yourself. Make sure you remember
that these breakups will not shatter the love you have for yourself.

2. Don't let the Break-up Change Who You are

Sometimes we think of ways to have revenge on those who did us wrong. That brings us
to tip number two which is not allowing stressful situations to cause to make mistakes you will regret. Remember; this isn't who you are. Right now you are vulnerable and sad; those thoughts of revenge may seem like the best idea to feel better. Think twice before you act,
and stay away from communication to those who hurt you during this time.

1. Cry

There is no shame in being hurt and no shame in showing that you are in pain. The number one tip is to cry. Let all of those roaring emotions out into a pillow or into a letter. Make sure you let out everything you feel. There is no shame in those tears.
